TaxiBy is a technology platform designed to facilitate ride discovery, booking, and coordination between passengers and drivers. The TaxiBy User App and TaxiBy Driver App are provided as free-to-download applications intended for use as-is.
Note: While the Platform and apps are free to access and use, transportation services booked through TaxiBy may involve payments. These payments are typically collected directly by drivers or service providers upon completion of the service. TaxiBy does not process in-app payments unless explicitly stated.
TaxiBy, operated by Nagappa Services Pvt Ltd, is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the secure, transparent, and lawful handling of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your personal data when you access or use the Platform as a Passenger, Driver, Corporate Client, or authorised employee.
The Company acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and applicable rules.
By accessing or using the Platform or Apps (TaxiBy User App and TaxiBy Driver App), you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not access or use the Platform.

To complete rides, we share limited personal data with the matched Driver (or Passenger, as applicable):

- Phone number (for coordination, masked or temporary where possible).
- Ride-specific details (e.g., instructions, ratings after the trip).
This sharing is strictly for ride completion and ends once the trip finishes.

We engage trusted third-party service providers to support our Platform:

Map and navigation providers (e.g., Google Maps) for routing and location accuracy.

Payment gateways for secure transaction processing.

These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and process data only for the specified purposes. We do not authorise them to use your data for their own marketing or unrelated activities.

User App (Passengers & Corporate Clients)
You can request account deletion via in-app settings or by emailing grievance@taxiby.in.
Before deletion:
- Complete or cancel all active/scheduled rides
- Settle any outstanding fares or fees
Once approved, data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 90 days.
Driver App (Registered Drivers)
You can request account deletion via Driver app settings or by emailing grievance@taxiby.in.
Before deletion:
- Complete or cancel all accepted/ongoing rides
- Settle all pending earnings, incentives or settlements
- Resolve any open complaints or verification matters
Once approved, data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 90 days.
